Corewell Health in Farmington Hills, MI, seeks a Transport Supervisor to oversee patient transport workflow and staffing on shift. You will mentor staff, support development, and help resolve data-driven inefficiencies while ensuring high-quality service.

You will participate in interviewing, hiring, and training efforts, while maintaining budgeted resources and coordinating service requests. The role requires a strong focus on safety, scheduling, and physician relations.

Competenze

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent
• Preferred Associate's Degree quivalent
• 1 year of relevant experience Skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through 1+ year of related experience
• 1 year of relevant experience customer service experience, preferably in a hospital or health care setting Required
• 2 years of relevant experience leadership Preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

Mansioni

• Supervises the activities of employees engaged in transporting patients and equipment to and from testing and procedure areas including inpatient, outpatient, emergency and high risk intensive care unit (ICU).
• Develops employee schedules including updates to meet changing needs on a daily basis. Fills employees vacancies on a shift-by-shift basis and anticipate those needs based on run volumes.
• Monitors overtime costs, length of shift (LOS) and daily usage of FTEs and supplies, working within the budget developed by the Director/Manager.
• Assists manager with interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations, goals setting, performance improvement and corrective actions. Provides direction and support to subordinate employees to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Facilitates the training and continuing education of employees.
• Makes suggestions for process changes and provides input into policies, procedures and departmental objectives.
• Transports patients to and from the Department as needed.
• Coordinates requests for services, information, records, and data on a timely basis. Researches and resolves problems. Engages in impacting professional, positive and productive physician relationships.
