Job summary

Austin Oaks Hospital in Austin, TX, is seeking a Transportation VAN Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for patients attending our outpatient programs at the San Marcos branch located at 1330 Wonder World Dr #108, San Marcos TX 78666. Responsibilities include ensuring timely transport, milieu management and crisis intervention for adolescents and adults.

The position supports our mission of compassionate mental health services on a thirteen-acre campus in South Austin.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: minimum of one year of college coursework.
• Current CPR or ability to pass CPR training during initial employment period.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License is required.
• Preferred: One year driver experience for hospital or psychiatric services.
• Knowledge of patient rights and safe transport procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely transportation of patients.
• Provide milieu management and crisis intervention as needed.
• Serve adolescents and adults attending outpatient programs.
