Kingwood Pines Hospital is seeking a Driver to operate facility vehicles for transporting patients to and from appointments, ensuring safety and high service standards. The role includes maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting mechanical issues.

Responsibilities include updating the van log, communicating with staff about patient care information, and safeguarding patient safety. A valid Texas driver’s license and CPR/HWC training are required or obtained on hire.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of transportation services experience preferred; priority given to applicants with patient transport experience.
• Must maintain a valid Texas driver’s license applicable to patient transport.
• CPR and HWC Crisis Intervention training must be completed prior to beginning work (Can be obtained upon hire).

Mansioni

• Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility.
• Maintain a van log with updated addresses and phone numbers.
• Communicate and consult with the Department Director and/or other staff regarding patient care information.
• Report all van maintenance problems to the Director, Outpatient Services.
• Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times.
• Demonstrate responsibility and sound judgment regarding patient safety.
• Participate in the therapeutic relationship with patients, as required.
