Job summary

Aurora Health and Rehab is seeking a Transporter to provide safe patient transport and basic daily nursing care within the facility. Under supervision, you will ensure residents' safety, move equipment, and assist with routines per the plan of care.

Responsibilities include delivering specimens, observing changes, documenting notes, and coordinating with nursing staff to maintain care quality and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• Some computer skills and understanding of documentation software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents and equipment safely within the facility.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts accurately.
• Communicate with RN Team Leader and nursing staff about resident status and changes.
• Assist with daily nursing care tasks and observe resident conditions for changes.
