Job summary

Lowell General Hospital, part of Tufts Medicine, is seeking a Transportation Aide I to support patient transport within the facility. The role involves coordinating shuttle and patient movements, assisting nursing staff, and ensuring safe handling of equipment in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in healthcare preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from departments as assigned.
• Assist with equipment requests and oxygen rounds; support department tasks.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper identification; report issues promptly.
