Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Nursing Support role to provide professional and basic patient care under physician orders. You will assist with ADLs, prepare rooms, and help maintain a safe environment on the Lowell General Hospital - Main Campus.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and BLS certification, with preferred healthcare experience. Night shifts (11pm–7am), weekend rotations, and unit-specific holiday coverage are required.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred: one year healthcare experience and nursing service experience.
• Preferred: Certified patient care assistant or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Under nurse direction, perform activities of daily living and patient care.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Prioritize care according to nursing direction and discharge plans.
• Transport patients to procedures and safe discharge within the hospital.
• Operate equipment safely, collect specimens, and record patient data.
• Provide patient sitter duties and observe patients per guidelines.
• Offer clerical support and greet visitors professionally.
• Answer phones and screen access to department for security.
• Complete admission, transfer, and discharge documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient charts and ensure timely, compassionate communication.
