Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Patient Support Associate to join our frontline team. The role handles scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and payment processing to support smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of office experience, preferably in a medical setting. Full-time with weekends rotation; benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of office experience required; prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews schedules to ensure accuracy.
• Answers telephone calls, determines nature of calls, takes and relays messages, and responds to routine inquiries following established procedures.
• Greets patients arriving for scheduled appointments. Registers patient by obtaining pertinent information such as name, demographic data, insurance coverage, etc.
• Verifies insurance eligibility.
• Schedules all appointments. Reschedule patients per protocol.
• Collects co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Balances and prepare end of day.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Hourly Pay Range:$18.76 - $27.20 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Patient Support Associate
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm with rotating weekends
• Required Travel: Skokie and Niles

What you will do

• Reviews schedules to ensure accuracy.

What you will need
