Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Evanston, IL. This per diem role supports a physician practice with front desk duties, patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and basic vitals.

Responsibilities include answering phones, collecting co-pays, registering patients, verifying insurance, and assisting with phlebotomy and injections as needed. Requires high school diploma, CPR certification, and MA training; on-the-job training provided.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification is preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office is required.
• On the job training is provided for those without prior MA training.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant

Location: Evanston, IL

Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem (as needed)

Hours: 8:30AM-12:30PM as needed

What you will do:

• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments
• Collect co-payments
• Complete patient registration
• Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
• Check in and check out patient
• Verify insurances
• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
