Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Patient Support Associate (PSA) for OBGYN to support patient scheduling, registration, and front-desk communications. This role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of office experience, preferably in a medical office.

You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect payments, schedule/adjust appointments, and balance daily transactions while maintaining a patient-focused, efficient front desk.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of office experience is required; medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews schedules to ensure accuracy.
• Answers telephone calls, determines nature of calls, takes and relays messages, and responds to routine inquiries following established procedures.
• Greets patients arriving for scheduled appointments.
• Registers patient by obtaining pertinent information such as name, demographic data, insurance coverage, etc.
• Verifies insurance eligibility.
• Schedules all appointments.
• Reschedule patients per protocol.
• Collects co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Balances and prepare end of day.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.76 - $27.20 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
