The Patient Support Assistant supports patient flow by greeting and assisting patients and addressing unit needs. The role requires professionalism, critical thinking, and sensitivity.
Education: Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 1 year in customer service, with experience in front-facing roles and public interaction considered an asset.
Skills & Attributes: Positive attitude, team player, excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, ability to prioritize, confidentiality, flexibility including weekends and nights, adherence to health and safety policies, physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
