Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
  • Sign on bonus: N/A
  • Position: Patient Support Assistant
  • Location: Evanston, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full- Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am- 4:30 pm
  • Travel: No

What you will do:

  • Answer phones
  • Schedule appointments
  • Collect co-payments
  • Complete patient registration
  • Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
  • Check in and check out patient
  • Verify insurances

What you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
  • Certification: N/A
  • Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience
