Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Patient Services Supervisor in Easton, MD to support the Food & Nutrition Services Department. The role focuses on delivering quality patient meals, ensuring satisfaction, and coordinating with nursing to optimize daily tray operations.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in food service, supervisory capability, strong communication, and familiarity with MS Office; ServSafe is preferred. This is an on-site role within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate with management, client, customer and associate levels.
• Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patient and client satisfaction meeting and exceeding stated expectations.
• Provides alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences, when patient inquires or needs additional selections.
• Interacts with nursing and evaluates on a daily basis patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery and tray retrieval process.
• Resolves patient concerns or complaints immediately and/or reports concerns to supervisor as appropriate.
• Assists in the responsibility for all food service related activities and be primarily involved in patient meal assembly and delivery; including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all facility-related activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
