Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center seeks an experienced supervisor for Patient Services. You will lead the PSS team, oversee daily operations in Internal Medicine Primary Care and subspecialty clinics, and ensure efficient patient access and accurate registration and verification processes.

The role requires a high school diploma with 5 years of experience, with preferred Cerner/EPIC EMR exposure and prior clinical setting work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of experience.
• Preferred Cerner/EPIC EMR experience.
• Experience working in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PSS staff and oversee daily operations.
• Manage patient scheduling, registration, and insurance verification.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
• Provide training and coaching to PSS staff.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve scheduling issues.
