Job summary

Shenandoah Oncology is seeking a Patient Services Supervisor to lead front-office operations, supervise staff, and ensure a welcoming, efficient patient experience. The role focuses on coordinating patient service workflows, addressing inquiries, and supporting administrative processes to deliver exceptional care.

This is a full-time, on-site position with standard weekday hours; compensation ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a healthcare field or at least 5 years of supervisory experience in healthcare.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the front desk (patient registration/cashier) and records management.
• Supervises reconciliation of cash bags daily with fee tickets and arranges for cash pick-up with cash management office.
• Resolves patient inquiries, complaints, or concerns regarding accounts or interactions with staff.
• Reviews and manages budget analysis.
• Runs necessary reports for staff to complete responsibilities.
• Communicates with patient management on operational status for scheduling appointments.
• Reviews and manages merging of patient accounts in the clinical information system.
• Reconciles monthly operations account, processes requests for records and subpoenas, and orders office supplies.
• Supervises staff front office.
• Other duties may be assigned or modified as business needs dictate.
