Job summary

Tri-Cities Community Health in Pasco, WA is hiring a Patient Services Specialist to join our Unified Customer Service team. Under the Site Manager's supervision, you will greet visitors, register patients, verify insurance, and route calls and messages.

You will collect UDS data, assist with records requests, process medical records, and support scheduling across multiple sites while maintaining confidentiality and a patient‑centered approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in general medical, dental, behavioral health, or related setting.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual with Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, or other preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient registrations accurately and professionally.
• Obtain and verify insurance information and eligibility.
• Respond to calls, screen and triage messages, and route to appropriate departments.
• Schedule appointments and support access across sites.
• Process medical records requests and confidentiality compliance.
• Collect UDS data and assist with time-of-service documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of software and hardware used in the clinic.
