Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of customer service experience required.
• One year of medical front desk receptionist experience or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors and directs questions to staff.
• Schedules and manages patient appointments in coordination with providers.
• Assists with patient portal setup and ensures required paperwork is complete.
• Verifies insurance coverage and eligibility for services.
• Collects co-pays and reconciles payments at end of shift.
• Maintains accurate patient records in the EHR and files as needed.
• Answers voicemails and portal messages and routes to appropriate personnel.
