Stanford Medicine Partners is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to join the care team. You will greet patients, register new patients, verify insurance coverage, and schedule appointments while managing telephone communications in a courteous, professional manner.

Strong communication, accuracy in data entry, and EHR proficiency are required. EPIC experience is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• One year of PSR or related experience required.
• Graduate of a Medical Receptionist training program, healthcare experience, or related preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and others entering the department in a courteous and professional manner.
• Register new patients and update existing patient accounts professionally.
• Schedule new or follow-up appointments in accordance with standards.
• Identify accepted insurance plans and those requiring referrals.
• Balance cash drawer and complete daily deposits; handle payments as needed.
• Access EHR to communicate with clinical staff via telephone encounters using SBAR.
• Manage EHR in-basket(s) and work queues; assist with referrals and templates.
