Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CMA, RMA, ABR-OE, CNA or QMA certification required.
• Minimum 6 months of clinical and clerical experience.
• Proficient with EMR/EHR systems and strong patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and return patient calls under physician direction.
• Review charts and collect information for physicians.
• Educate patients and families as appropriate.
• Document care in patient records and transmit securely.
• Schedule outpatient tests and obtain pre-certifications.
• Assist with reception tasks and maintain waiting area.
