Job summary

Axia Women's Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for our Paoli and Strafford care centers in Pennsylvania. The PSR I will be the first and last point of contact for patients, handling scheduling, check-in, copay collection, and insurance verification with empathy and efficiency.

The role supports daily administrative workflows, collaborates with clinical teams, and adheres to HIPAA/OSHA SOPs. A flexible schedule and coverage at satellite locations are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as Medical Receptionist/Patient Service Representative preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, directing them to the waiting area.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and notify staff accordingly.
• Route calls efficiently via transfer, paging, voicemail, or redirect.
• Collect copayments and verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Assist with scheduling and updating patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Document encounters accurately and support clinicians and staff as needed.
