The role handles patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and information updates, delivering friendly, accurate service to patients and families.

You will greet patients, collect demographics, explain financial options, manage referrals, and help with online scheduling (MyChart).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare preferred.
• Experience with front desk duties and customer service is expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and act as primary contact between patients and practice.
• Register patients, verify demographics, and collect insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and enter information into the computer system.
• Explain financial options to patients and assist with online scheduling (MyChart).
• Process admissions paperwork and verify insurance details per policy.
• Assist with referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications as needed.
• Reconcile cash drawer and handle patient payments with accuracy.
