Job summary

Christie Clinic’s Endocrinology department in Bloomington is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative Specialist at the Medical Hills clinic. The role provides front-desk support, greets patients, and acts as a liaison between patients and medical staff.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with no night or weekend requirements. Responsibilities include verifying demographics and insurance information, collecting copayments, scheduling visits, managing check-in and check-out,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Answer high-volume phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
• Process check-ins, verify demographic and insurance information, and collect copayments.
• Maintain and balance the payment drawer at day end.
• Update patient records in the electronic medical record system.
• Coordinate referrals, tests, labs, and appointments as requested.
• Assist with prior authorizations and paperwork for patients.
• Participate in department huddles and general duties as needed.
