Job summary

Seventh Ave Surgery Center in Kearney, NE seeks a Part-Time Patient Services Representative to welcome patients, collect information, and support billing workflows. Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, assist in patient communications and recalls.
• Respond to patient inquiries about billing, procedures, policies and services.
• Prepare patient charts prior to appointments and complete them upon arrival.
• Process patients through check out by verifying charts, insurance, posting payments, and filing claims.
• Balance cash drawer, process daily deposits, and submit reports at end of day.
• Monitor patient flow and communicate delays to staff.
• Maintain a safe and clean office environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by office manager and doctor(s).
