Job summary

Midwest Vision Partners seeks a courteous Front Desk/Receptionist to greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced ophthalmology environment. You will update patient demographics, schedule visits, and coordinate with clinical staff to maintain accurate records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and experience with high-volume calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with high-volume calling or telephone operator duties is a plus.
• Proficiency with medical office software and patient data entry desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Enter/update/verify insurance information and patient demographics; work with medical software.
• Complete patient registration by reviewing records and gathering missing information.
• Process co-pays and collect payments as needed; update billing information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; maintain front desk organization and patient flow.
