Job summary

Midwest Eye Consultants in Indiana is seeking a Patient Services Representative to facilitate communication between patients, doctors, and staff, and to act as a liaison with insurance companies and the Central Billing department. You will verify insurance, obtain pre-authorizations, check patients in/out, schedule appointments, answer phones, triage, and maintain charts.

Responsibilities include processing payments, posting claims, balancing cash at day-end, and ensuring a clean, safe office

Qualifications

• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments.
• Assist in patient communications and recalls.
• Respond to billing, procedure, policy, and service inquiries.
