Lexington Treatment Specialists in Florence, SC is seeking a Patient Services Representative to manage front-desk duties, collect copays, verify insurance, and handle daily financial tasks. The role is on site at 1591 S Irby St, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 4:45 am to 12:30 pm.

Requires a high school diploma (or college enrollment/degree), the ability to be personable and respectful to patients and staff, computer literacy, and strong multitasking and math skills.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred with college enrollment or completed college degree.
• Must be personable, respectful and non-judgmental to patients and staff; computer literate.
• Flexible and able to multi-task; good mathematical skills.
• Pass SLED background check.

Responsibilities

• Collect daily fees and copays from patients and enter the amounts into the computer.
• Print receipts as requested and complete insurance verifications.
• Process grant applications and balance daily accounts.
• Keep running total of monies collected and reconcile daily fees with reports.
• Assist in preparing daily deposit slips and inform patients of flags as needed.
• Answer telephones and complete administrative responsibilities.
