BJC Medical Group is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative for our Internal Medicine clinic in Winghaven. This front office role handles patient check-ins, scheduling, and basic billing support, with no calls on weekends or holidays and a day shift.

Ideal candidates have preferred medical office experience and 2–5 years in a similar setting, working 40 hours per week in outpatient care. This team offers strong benefits and a collaborative environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience in a front office/medical setting preferred.
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Handles telephone calls from patients and staff; forwards calls requiring triage.
• Performs receptionist duties with close attention to detail and professionalism.
• Verifies health insurance payment information and educates patients on applicable regulations; collects payments and records data.
• Performs data entry of service charges, to include the assignment of diagnostic codes and the entering of all physician and clinic related charges.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure all charges are captured and properly collected.
