Job summary

Bookmark Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for a full-time, clinic-based role in White House, TN. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with four 10-hour shifts and no weekend work.

You will greet patients, handle calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and maintain accurate EHR data (Athena or eCW preferred). A positive team player with healthcare/admin experience is ideal.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage incoming calls, messages, and patient inquiries.
• Schedule appointments, referrals, follow ups, and co pays.
• Assist with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Support clear communication between patients and providers.
• Update and maintain accurate information in the EHR.
• Keep the front desk organized, efficient, and patient ready.

Schedule

This is a full-time, clinic-based position with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule.

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (4 x 10 Hour Shifts)
• 10-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Clinics are closed on weekends - no Saturday or Sunday shifts

What you'll do

You’ll create a smooth, supportive experience for every patient by:

• Greeting patients and checking them in with warmth and professionalism
• Managing incoming calls, messages, and patient inquiries
• Scheduling appointments, referrals, follow ups, and co pays
• Assisting with insurance verification and prior authorizations
• Supporting clear communication between patients and providers
• Updating and maintaining accurate information in the EHR
• Helping keep the front desk organized, efficient, and patient ready
