Job summary

Bookmark Medical is seeking aPatient Service Specialist to deliver a welcoming, patient-centered experience at our Haverhill location.

You will manage check-ins, calls, appointments, referrals, and co-pays while supporting insurance verifications and prior authorizations; maintain clear communication between patients and providers and keep the front desk organized and efficient.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, customer service, or administrative role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
• EHR proficiency (Athena or eCW preferred).
• A positive attitude and a commitment to patient centered service.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and checking them in with warmth and professionalism
• Managing incoming calls, messages, and patient inquiries
• Scheduling appointments, referrals, follow ups, and co pays
• Assisting with insurance verification and prior authorizations
• Supporting clear communication between patients and providers
• Updating and maintaining accurate information in the EHR
• Helping keep the front desk organized, efficient, and patient ready
