Kintegra Health is hiring a Patient Services Representative to support the Patient Services department. The role involves accurate data entry of patient demographics, insurance info, charges, and payments, with cross training across medical records, scanning, PHI requests, and messaging for clinical and non-clinical staff.

The candidate should have at least one year of clerical experience in a medical office, be able to interact with diverse cultures, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year clerical experience in a medical office.
• Knowledge of medical office software for updating demographics, posting charges and copays.
• Excellent verbal communication and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and screen/assist callers professionally.
• Schedule patient appointments under administrative guidelines.
• Explain policies to patients and staff clearly.
• Collect personal and financial information from patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and security of records.
• Update demographics and insurance in PMG/EMR systems.
• Post copays and manage cash transactions accurately.
• Query for patient financial records and extract PHI when needed.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
