Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Foundation in California seeks a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, physicians and clinic staff. You will handle phone, chat, email and text support, verify eligibility, collect demographics, schedule appointments and assist with referrals and authorizations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• At least 6 months experience scheduling patient appointments.
• Experience with computer systems, including Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Resolve caller inquiries completely during the initial contact
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders, verbally and in writing
• Perform job functions with independence, flexibility, and creative problem-solving
• Maintain call control by de-escalating issues and confidently articulating resolutions

• Utilize resources wisely, maintain equipment, manage supplies, and adhere to time policies
