Foundation Health Partners is seeking an organized Registration and Scheduling Representative for our General Surgery clinic. You’ll greet patients, register and schedule, and handle inquiries to ensure timely access to care.

Greet patients, verify insurance, input data, collect payments, and coordinate case times in the scheduling system. Strong communication and multitasking in a busy medical office are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of related work experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication in a busy medical office.
• Proficient in common office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with registration and scheduling.
• Answer inbound calls and route information to the appropriate team.
• Collect and input patient demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Obtain signatures and necessary consent forms.
• Coordinate case times in scheduling system and review physician privileges.
• Process co-pays and payments as needed.
• Address inquiries regarding registration, insurance or billing.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and administration to maintain patient flow.
• Monitor voicemails and route messages for timely follow-up.
• Organize documents in RightFax for proper routing.
