Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Medical Office Coordinator to support physician practices and clinical staff in the Seacoast region. You will handle scheduling, inquiries, patient referrals, data entry and medical records support in a team-driven environment.

We value teamwork, ongoing education, and patient-centered care. A standard Monday-Friday schedule with opportunities for growth across NH locations is available.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience in customer service environment.
• BCLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and handles check-in/check-out, scheduling, phone inquiries and messages.
• Collects co-pays and maintains patient balances.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and updates patient demographics.
• Posts payments and adjustments; balances daily journal and bank deposits as needed.
• Mentors new staff and ensures referrals are obtained for visits in specialty offices.
• Assigns patients to providers and care teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Adheres to standard work protocols and coordinates referrals.
