Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming communications and ensure reliable coverage for phones.
• Assist patients with signing up for MyChart and promote its use.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments in the office or surgery center as applicable.
• Manage same-day appointment expectations and follow up on communications.
• Process messages, mail, faxes and other communications.
• Prepare for visits with pre-registration tasks.
• Identify copays and balances; collect payments; act as liaison on billing questions.
• Maintain a paperless, tidy work area and update patient registries in EPIC.
• Support team with administrative duties and participate in care-team quality efforts.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to policies.
