Job summary

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming communications and ensure reliable coverage for phones.
• Assist patients with MyChart enrollment and encourage MyChart as primary communication method.
• Coordinate and schedule all appointments (office or hospital) as applicable.
• Manage same-day appointment expectations and follow up on communications.
• Handle messages, mail, faxes, and other communications.
• Prepare for visits with pre-registration tasks.
• Identify copays and balances; collect payments; liaise with patients and SBO on billing questions.
• Maintain paperless, neat work environment and update patient registries in EPIC.
• Support team with administrative duties and participate in care-team quality improvements.
