Martin's Point Health Care Inc. seeks a Care Team Patient Services Representative to join our Portland, ME site.

The role supports the Contact Center, handles scheduling, rescheduling, and patient communications within a collaborative care team focused on quality service for patients and staff. We offer 34–40 hours weekly, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, plus occasional evenings and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in administrative and/or customer service environments.
• Medical environment experience preferred (registration, billing, scheduling).
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare benefits preferred.
• Data entry and word processing skills.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and follow-through skills.

Responsabilités

• Schedule, reschedule and cancel patient appointments.
• Provide phone support to internal and external customers.
• Coordinate new patient management and maintain records.
• Handle lab and health maintenance reminders via various channels.
• Respond to patient portal or written requests.
• Track and follow up on patient issues with Clinical Support.
• Process pre-appointment lab reminders and manage portal communications.
• Assist with referrals and document management as applicable.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings to improve workflows.
• Collect copays and outstanding balances.
