Job description

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration, check-in, and clinical support duties.


This is a full-time position working M-F between 6:00 am - 6:00 pm at our Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, and Otsego locations.


Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, dedicated to giving patients more control over their healthcare.


Essential Functions:
  • Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
  • Verify and document insurance information according to current business practices
  • Schedule new and existing patients accurately and promptly in the practice management system
  • Communicate appointment details, directions, check-in times, referral information, and co-payments to patients
  • Prepare and manage patient charts
  • Maintain knowledge of healthcare plan requirements and networks
  • Communicate timely with patients, families, and staff
  • Rotate duties as Switchboard Operator: handle calls, coordinate interpreters, and patient referrals
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Customer Service experience required
  • Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred
Benefits & Compensation:
  • Starting pay varies based on education, skills, and experience
  • $1,500 sign-on bonus, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible.

  • Work during clinic hours and travel within clinic premises as needed

  • Operate equipment and phone systems effectively
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Travel to other locations if required
