Job summary

Weil Foot & Ankle Institute in Santa Monica is seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to greet and assist patients, schedule appointments, and manage the checkout process. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and preferably two years of experience in healthcare.

Patient Services Representative (PSR)

Balance Health is a leading lower‑extremity focused physician practice providing operational support to podiatrists, orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists.

The PSR greets and checks in patients, schedules appointments, follows through with the checkout process and assists with other office duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival
• Check in patients and address individual concerns as they arise
• Collect insurance information, co‑pay, deductible and open balances
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Schedule

Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred; willing to train the right candidate
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer and office equipment proficiency
• Patient‑focused with the ability to work independently
• Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Salary

$23–25 per hour.
