Job summary

Balance Health in Sacramento is seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, and managing the checkout process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collect appropriate information including insurance overview, co-pay, deductible and open balances.

Balance Health is the nation’s premier comprehensive lower-extremity focused Physician Practice. We provide leading podiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists with operational support so they can spend their time focused on growing their business and delivering exceptional patient care.

Our Team is looking for a Patient Services Representative (PSR) who would be responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments and following through with the checkout process. The PSR will also assist with office duties as needed.

  • Greet patients
  • Check in patients and assist with individual concerns, as they arise
  • Collect appropriate information including insurance overview, co-pay, deductible and open balances
  • Other tasks, as assigned

Monday through Friday

Requirements
Qualifications / Education / Critical Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred - but willing to train the right individual!
