Job summary

OrthoAtlanta is seeking a Patient Services Representative in Sandy Springs, GA. The role is full-time, on-site, with an hourly compensation and benefits package. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling check-in/out, payments, scheduling, and EMR data entry.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a medical office, knowledge of EMR systems (Epic a plus), and strong customer service skills. Join a team focused on patient-centered care and efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check them in/out, and answer questions about appointments, insurance, or procedures.
• Collect co-pays, prepayments, and outstanding balances while explaining policies.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments and handle incoming calls to ensure timely communication.
• Input and update patient demographics, insurance information, and visit details in the EMR system.
• Open/close front office, keep waiting area organized, and manage EMR buckets to support clinic flow.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and staff.

What You'll Do

As a Patient Services Representative at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:

• Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and help with questions about appointments, insurance, or procedures
• Collect co-pays, prepayments, and outstanding balances accurately while explaining financial policies as needed
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments, answer incoming calls, and ensure timely patient communication and follow-through
• Input and update patient demographics, insurance information, and visit details into the EMR system
• Open and close the front office, keep the waiting area clean and organized, and work assigned EMR “buckets” to support clinic flow

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
