Spine & Sport Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Services Representative in Thousand Oaks, CA. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance details, and support a smooth patient experience in a busy clinic.

In this role you’ll maintain records, coordinate with clinicians, and help front office tasks as needed. Strong customer service and healthcare-administration interest are a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare administration knowledge is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries in person and by phone.
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture during therapy transitions.
• Maintain patient records and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Keep front office area neat, tidy, and organized.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Assist front office tasks when needed (phone, scanning, scheduling, payments, filing, faxing).
• Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments.
• Maintain a clean reception area and assist in inventory management.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute process-improvement ideas.
• Ensure therapy areas and equipment are clean and organized (daily cleaning, laundry, stocking).
