Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Preferably some medical office experience.
• Knowledge of medical office systems, medical supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them to the proper area.
• Update patient demographics and insurance information in the EMR.
• Ensure patients are checked in with demographics, insurance, and slide information.
• Obtain necessary authorizations from outside providers.
• Enter medical, pharmacy, transportation and other service visits and payments into the system.
• Explain charges at check out and collect payments.
