Job summary
CVHS HEALTH SERVICES seeks a contractor physician to deliver primary medical care in Bowling Green, VA. You will examine, diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and coordinate with a clinical team within the CVHS system.
Licensed in Virginia with a primary care residency, you will contribute to preventive care programs, EHR documentation, and on-call coverage. CVS Health Services offers a comprehensive benefits package and professional development support.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an AMA- or AOA-accredited school.
- Licensed to practice medicine in Virginia.
- Residency in family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary medical care including examination, diagnosis and treatment for CVHS patients.
- Prescribe and dispense medications; offer medical advice as needed.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and follow-up care as medically indicated.
- Collaborate with senior physicians and other health professionals; participate in quality assurance.
