Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Patient Services Supervisor to oversee meal service and ensure nutrition orders are followed in hospital or long-term care settings.

You will lead Patient Services Workers, coordinate with nursing and the Food and Nutrition Services Department, and train staff to deliver high-quality patient meals. Strong leadership and communication are essential; English proficiency required, bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Patient Services Supervisor required.
• Demonstrates leadership, interpersonal, communication skills.
• Requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English; bilingual abilities preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Patient Services Workers during meal service.
• Delivers nourishments and snacks to patients as ordered by physician/dietitian in a timely manner.
• Visits patients to introduce the services of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Communicates all patient food needs to the appropriate area of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Ensures that nutrition diet care orders are provided to the patient by offering appropriate menu selections.
• Maintains sanitation standards by following cleaning schedules and completing sanitation tasks.
• Lead, train, and support Patient Services Workers in their roles.
• Inventories and restocks pantries, refrigerator, and freezers on assigned unit(s).
• Maintains temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers.
• Assists clinical staff in ensuring all patients\' basic nutrition care needs are met.
