Thomas Cuisine is seeking a dedicated Patient Services Lead in Phoenix, AZ to guide a frontline team delivering nourishing meals that support healing and patient comfort.

You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and dietary compliance while coordinating with culinary for special requests. This role emphasizes leadership, healthcare-aligned service, and a patient-centered approach to food service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, lead, and coordinate patient food service operations, including meal assembly, tray delivery, and patient meal selections, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to dietary guidelines.
• Lead a team of patient services staff, providing training, coaching, and support to ensure high standards of customer service, food safety, and sanitation.
• Coordinate with the culinary team for special dietary requests and accommodations for patients with allergies, intolerances, or cultural preferences, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient meal orders, dietary preferences, and food allergies, using EMR systems.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, infection control protocols, and hospital policies and procedures, conducting regular audits and inspections of food service areas.
