Job summary

Thomas Cuisine is seeking a Patient Services Worker (Tray Line) in Phoenix, AZ to bring hospitality to healthcare by serving patient meals and guiding diet choices. The role involves bedside ordering, accurate delivery, and collaborative care with clinical teams.

Responsibilities include tray delivery, dietary information communication, inventory, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Requires ServSafe and State Food Handler credentials, HS diploma, and flexibility for shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Current ServSafe certification is required.
• Current State Food Handler Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient trays during meal service and provide snacks or nourishment.
• Inform patients about Food and Nutrition Services and collect food preferences when needed.
• Ensure accuracy of food items and inform patients about meal selections and diets.
• Inventory and restock goods to proper levels.
• Respond promptly to service requests and address delays.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients and staff.
• Assist with food prep, tray line service, dish room washing, meal carts, stocking, cleaning, and other duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
