Job summary

Select Medical in Elizabethtown, PA is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to greet, register patients, schedule appointments, and handle front desk duties at our outpatient physical therapy center.

The role includes collecting co-pays, coordinating with insurers, and maintaining smooth patient flow, with a Monday–Friday schedule and three evenings per week. Prior front desk experience is welcome, with mentorship provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
