Responsibilities

• Provide front office registration duties such as collecting patient demographic information, inputting insurance information, verifying benefits, and obtaining signatures on ER consent forms.
• Enter all patient information into the EHR and billing software and complete records by scanning signed documents and medical reports.
• Maintain and file patient records for the required retention period.
• Provide medical records to other providers upon authorized request.
• Log payments with Square and manage cash drawer during shift.
• Maintain accurate billing records for the office and payer information.
