Job summary

Excelsior Orthopaedics in Orchard Park, NY is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to be the first point of contact for patients. You will handle reception, registration, and front-desk duties to support our Physical and Occupational Therapy teams.

This per diem role offers patient-focused service and accurate data entry. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, EMR experience (Medent preferred), and a high school diploma with Associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients entering the building.
• Verify appointment and insurance information in Medent.
• Collect copays and balance cash drawer.
• Assist scheduling with therapists and patients.
• Serve as liaison between patient and billing department.
• Process registrations via patient portal and referrals.
