Job summary

UCF Health East Orlando Clinic welcomes a Clinic Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The role involves greeting patients, managing phone calls, and providing patient and physician support in a friendly, efficient manner.

You will coordinate with care staff to ensure smooth patient flow, collect copayments and charges, maintain patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Collects copayments, deductibles, and other office visit charges.
• Screens phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Takes messages and provides information, answers questions regarding patient appointments
• Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Maintain patient records and update information as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks as assigned.
