• Must be available to travel to Carilion sites and assist during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with menu selection.
• Handles cash and charge transactions according to procedures.
• Assembles and delivers trays, snacks, tube feedings, and nourishment.
• Maintains customer relations and service delivery.
• Food preparation and storage; general sanitation.
• Complete general food service tasks including storeroom, tray assembly or delivery, and cleaning.
• Log temperatures according to documentation requirements.
• Ring up sales, balance cash drawer, and make deposits as needed.
• Provide catering for events and meetings.
• Meet with patients to obtain menu and diet orders.
